What is VPN?

Virtual Private Network, (aka VPN) allows organizations to securely extend their Local Area Networks(LANs) over the Internet by encrypting the data traffic. VPN provides a secure method for exchange of data over the public internet.

How do I get a VPN account?

Faculty and staff should request a VPN account via the Online Help desk. You must demonstrate a valid reason for needing a VPN and you must also be willing to follow our security rules and policies. Violation of our polices are grounds for account termination and other disciplinary actions. Please complete and sign the form below.

NOTE: Students will not be issued VPN accounts!
